Student Dormitory Repairs & Construction Projects – Various Amounts

• Repair of one apartment with two rooms, a corridor and bathroom - $3000, including $1900 for materials and $1100 for the work
• Repair a group kitchen (which serves several apartments), including changing tiles and kitchen furniture - $2700
• Repair a corridor/hallway - $1900, including $1300 for materials and $600 for the work
• Purchase new furniture for a two-room apartment - $2900
• Gifts of any amount are appreciated.

Extra Winter Costs for Heating and Electricity – About $7,000 per month

• Heating and electricity costs have dramatically increased in the past two years. Because of this, DCU faces significantly higher utility bills in winter months. We appreciate gifts of any amount.

Computers for Teachers/Staff – $800 per computer, including monitors and licensed software

• We constantly need to improve our computer technology to serve our students and the church community.
• A gift of any amount will help, because we often need to purchase 5 new computers per year.

Library Books for New Programs – 1000 books at $10 per book

• DCU has one of the best theological libraries in the former Soviet Union (over 22,000 titles in Russian, Ukrainian and English), but needs to purchase new books for new programs
• In the Fall of 2008, DCU opened a new program in social ministry, which still needs about 1000 new books. Each book costs about $10.
